Helen Scanterbury-James Receives Excellence Award

It was with great pleasure that the President of Pan Trinbago Inc. T.C. - Mrs. Beverley Ramsey-Moore and her executive presented the Excellence In Service Award to Mrs. Helen Scanterbury-James, Chief Administrative Officer of our organization in recognition of her Outstanding Service and Contribution to the Steelband Community.  Forty (40) years of Quality, Service, Integrity, Loyalty, and Commitment.


Helen Scanterbury-James started her career with Pan Trinbago, at tender age of eighteen (18) on the 01st April 1982 and has been employed with Pan Trinbago Inc. for the past 40 years.
Mrs. Scanterbury-James was temporarily hired as a Clerk/Typist, when one of our staff members proceeded on maternity leave. However, her high level of professionalism, based on her education, training and her ability to go beyond the call of duty, augured well for her and she was offered a permanent position after just three months of employment.
Mrs. Scanterbury-James showed a genuine love for what she did and even turned down employment with a prominent establishment to continue work with this organization.
Based on her ability to produce, she quickly moved up the ladder from Clerk/Typist to Secretary and then to her present position as Chief Administrative Officer obtaining her Associate Degree in Applied Science in Business Administration.
Mrs. Scanterbury-James sterling contribution is applauded she maintains a self-sacrificing spirit to ensure that our membership, executive and all pan lovers remain well informed on current events and important matters, even more so during the present pandemic where there are many challenges in and out of the office.
Pan Trinbago is indeed fortunate to have an employee of this stature in its employ and takes this opportunity to Thank Mrs. Scanterbury-James for her years of service and her contribution to the steel band movement and the Central Executive.
Senator the Honorable Minister Randall Mitchell; Mrs. Beverley Ramsey-Moore, President of Pan Trinbago, and Mr Winston “Gypsy” Peters, Chairman of NCC were invited to present the award to Mrs Helen Scanterbury-James.
