Steelpan Month 2025 - August 1st - 31st

Steelpan Month 2025 promises to be a grand celebration of Trinidad and Tobago’s national musical instrument, with a series of events and activities showcasing the vibrancy, innovation, and global influence of the Steelpan. Anchored by World Steelpan Day on August 11th, this month-long observance, led by Pan Trinbago, will feature concerts, panyard tours,  and youth engagement programmes aimed at preserving and promoting the artform. As the world governing body for the Steelpan, Pan Trinbago will also host symposiums and panel discussions on the future of the instrument, cultural diplomacy, and economic opportunities within the Steelband movement.

The festivities will unite pannists, enthusiasts, and stakeholders from across the diaspora, reinforcing the Steelpan’s role as a powerful symbol of national pride and artistic excellence. Families and communities are encouraged to participate in this historic celebration, demonstrating to the world the magic and legacy of the Steelpan.
