OBITUARY - MICHAEL SCOTT

Pan Trinbago Inc. extends its deepest condolences to the wife, children and the family of Michael Scott on his tragic demise.
Mr. Scott was the Assistant Manager of the NGC La Brea Nightingales Steel Orchestra.
He is fondly remembered for his tenure as teacher at the San Fernando Central Secondary (Mod. Sec.) where he mentored many a student.
As news of his death became public, there was an outpouring of tributes from persons who interacted with him.
Described as a “no nonsense” teacher, “boss historian”, and one who would go the extra mile for his pupils in pushing them towards success”, Scott will also be remembered as a kind and gentle man.
A community stalwart, historian and respected educator, Mr. Scott will be sorely missed by his peers and members of the steelpan organisation.
Pan Trinbago also commiserates with his extended family, members of the La Brea Nightingales on their loss.
May his soul rest in peace.
