RENEGADES TOPS LARGE BANDS PRELIMS ...

Pan Trinbago has released the names of the National Panorama 2019 semi- finalists in the three (3) categories.

T&T Defence Force, T&TEC New Eastside Dimension, and Uptown Town Fascinators topped the listing in the National Panorama Small Band category with 278 points each. Thirty (30) bands will compete on Saturday February 16 at Victoria Square, Port of Spain from 4:00 pm.

In the Medium Band category, Pan Elders with their performance of Owen Reyes Johnson’s composition “The Will” amassed a total of 268.5 points to take the lead.

Bptt Renegades topped their Large Band category with 273points. They played “Hookin Meh’ sung by Farmer Nappy (Daryl Henry) and arrande by Duvone Stewart.

Both Pan Elders and bptt Renegades will proceed to the Medium & Large Band Semi Finals on Sunday February 17 at Carnival City, Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain from 1:00 pm. Fourteen (14) bands from each category will compete.

The Semi Finalists are: Small Conventional Bands

Draw for playing positions will take place at the N.C.C. V.I.P. Lounge on Thursday 14 February for the Small Bands while the Medium & Large Bands will do so on the following at 10:00 am.
