LH Pan Groove starts the small bands finals action on Friday ..

Five (5) of the fourteen (14) finalists in Friday’s NLCB National Panorama Small Band Final hail from Tobago.

They are: Uptown Fascinators, T&TEC New East Side Dimension, Fascinators Pan Symphony, West Side Symphony, Tobago Pan-Thers and C&B Crown Cordaans.

The Tobago five will join their Trinidad counterparts on Friday January 17 at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain, for the grand finals under the theme “Celebrate De Pan”.  Tickets go on sale on the day of the event at the Ticket Booth, Queen’s Park Savanah, from 10:00 am.  Prices are $100 (General) and Reserved ($200.)

The names of the finalists were announced in order of merit early Sunday morning after eleven (11 hours of scintillating pan music from thirty one (31) bands.

Ezra Joseph, Joanna Shortt, Kenrick Noel, Richard Pierre, Roger Sardinah and Vorbin Cordice had the   unenviable task of adjudicating the bands.
