Josanne Francis in concert at Kennedy Center

Trinidad and Tobago-born foreign-based musician Josanne Francis will take the spotlight at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, on September 18, to deliver her trade mark first class steelpan performance  
Her instrument of choice is the tenor pan.
The music educator will take attendees on a one-of-a-kind musical journey that blends together the influences of calypso, jazz, and hindustani music.
This production, which is free to the public, is featured as part of the Kennedy Center's free daily performance series on its Millennium Stage in the Grand Foyer.

A live feed of the performance, on the day, will be available for persons in geographical locations

On the night, she will be accompanied by Elijah Jamal Balbed, on saxophones; Noble Jolley, piano; Avi Shah, tabla;

Herman Burney Jr, bass; Fran Vielma, percussion; and Tyler Leak, on drums
