Born in Surrey Village, Lopinot, he was buried in the Public Cemetery there. TPRC councillor for the La Florissante/Lopinot electoral district Crista Ariel Alexis officially handed over the ownership of Jit Samaroo’s entombed gravesite to his family in a simple ceremony hosted by his wife and family.
